"Investors in People New Choices” is an exciting new development to help you get more in-depth, tailored support on the issues of most relevance to you and your organisation.

New Choices
Investors in People UK is developing a new way for you to work with our business improvement framework.  The approach has been extensively piloted over the past year and will be available to clients in the coming months.

New Choices way is a major change in how you can work with and benefit from Investors in People.  Feedback from customers has helped us develop a new approach that delivers even more value. Focusing on your unique business needs means that New Choices provides you with a highly tailored experience.

Customers who have worked with New Choices say that it delivers better service as it is targeted to tackle their specific needs and priorities.

Feedback from Pilot Organisations
An extensive pilot in the West Midlands during summer 2008  involved over 185 clients.  The following comments highlighted why the new approach is proving beneficial to clients.

More choice and flexibility
You will be presented with a single Investors in People framework that combines the current Standard and Profile. Whilst the content of the framework remains the same, the main benefit is that you now have much greater choice over how you work with it. You can still access all the good practice as well as the developmental approach that is at the heart of Investors in People.

Whilst achieving the Investors in People Standard will be key to this, our Specialists will help you to work beyond the Standard in areas where there is a business need you wish to develop further.

Working with you
The first step in the process is for an Investors in People Specialist to meet with you to learn about your business aims and objectives.  Our Specialists will help you identify the best people and performance measures for your business. These meaningful and achievable measures, will help you track your progress over time and assess the impact on performance.

Business Issue Scoping Tool
To demonstrate how Investors in People can be shaped around the  different needs of organisation, this new tool enables you to choose a number of key business issues and see the most relevant parts of Investors in People.  Users of the tool are also able to produce a report providing more detailed information about these business issues and other options available from Investors in People.  Click here to access it.

Keeping you informed on "New Choices" development
