By Air
From Newcastle International Airport
Follow the A696 South bound towards Newcastle upon Tyne, then
join the A1 South bound. Follow the A1- A1(M) until junction
65. Join the A1691 East bound towards Sunderland. Follow the
signs for Sunderland A1231 and then use the By Road directions
below.
Taxis are available outside the airport. The journey time
is approximately 30 - 45 minutes.
By Rail
Connections to Sunderland are available from Newcastle.

By Road
From the South
Travel up the A19 North bound until you see the sign for
Sunderland (North). Turn right onto the A1231. Go straight
over the first three roundabouts. Look for the sign "Quay
West". Turn right onto Timber Beach Road, then left at the
roundabout onto Hylton Park Road. Follow Hylton Park Road and
take the turn after the Vauxhall car dealership onto Quay
West. Continue down the road until you see the sign for
Quay West Riverside Business Village.
From the North
Head down the A19 South bound until you see the first sign for
Sunderland. Turn left onto the A1231, then follow the
instructions above.
