
To be recognised as a great employer and to win our category would be amazing. We have experienced incredible growth in the last few years and to receive public recognition of the efforts every single person in our organisation makes every day would be a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.
Without people we can’t achieve, grow or develop, so to win an award that is focused around people would really cement the great work everyone continues to do every day and celebrate our collective achievements.
Our journey began in 2021 where were awarded the standard accreditation and we were within a hare’s breath of achieving gold in 2024, but to attain a silver accreditation was a fantastic achievement. Many people have worked so hard to get to the point we are at today, so to publicly celebrate this and enter to recognise their efforts is so important.
It actually means the world to be shortlisted. Certainly within my team our focus is people, people, people. So to have all the hard work, commitment and dedication of everyone involved in our Investors in People journey recognised is the icing on the cake. We know we still have a journey ahead of us and will work hard to develop the business and our practices to continually improve.
People are at the heart of everything we do and we want to retain and develop our next generation of leaders so see the business grow and develop in the future. We are proud of every single person in our business and for their efforts every day in supporting our customers, patients and each other.
We employ amazing people in Medstrom and without every single one of them we wouldn’t be where we are today. We’ll always strive to be better and to retain our values in everything we do as without those we don’t have a solid foundation.
To win the award would strengthen who we are as an organisation to support our continued development and growth of people, practices and support our work towards becoming an employer of choice.
