ONE is a well-established integrated multi-disciplinary design company a head office in Worcester and offices in London, Birmingham and Cardiff. Our dynamic team includes all of the essential disciplines for a design project inhouse: masterplanning, architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, civil and structural engineering and building services – all working at the forefront of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across the UK and overseas.
The company was established in 1975 (www.oneltd.com/about-us), rebranded as ‘ONE’ in 2008 and underwent a management buyout in 2015. ONE has gone from strength to strength, always recognising the importance of our team. Having seen unprecedented growth, the company launched our new 5-year plan in 2022 which is taking ONE to the next level of sustainable growth. This plan consists of 4 pillars with Our People being one of the 4 alongside: Design, Sustainability and Innovation.
We have been accredited with Investors in People for 20 years and have recently undertaken reaccreditation. We always find this to be a really valuable process and were really pleased to submit an award entry this year.

Everyone at ONE is delighted to have been shortlisted for “The Award for UK Employer of the Year (50-249 people): Accredited” at the 2024 Investors in People awards.
Our Board of 7 directors support and invest in our multi-disciplinary team, who we are seeing excel in their careers and perform time and again for our clients. We are committed to further growth as a company and in 2023 our workforce grew by around a third. We recruit talented individuals, are an inclusive employer that supports everyone to achieve and invest in our team with a generous training budget/support for CPD. We look after our team’s wellbeing and they share in the company’s successes e.g. with company paid trips (including abroad) to celebrate a great year, as well as a range of other benefits. Knowing how many businesses that Investors in People advisors must see, we are honoured to have received the recognition and to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award.
We would be absolutely thrilled to win the award which would recognise the investment that has been made over many years ensuring ONE continues to be a great place to work.
