April Complete Care Solutions Ltd

The Investors in People Awards 2025 - Finalist Case Study

Nominated for The Award for UK Employer of the Year: Accredited (2-49 people)

Why did you enter the Investors in People 2025 Awards?

At April Complete Care Solutions Ltd, we entered the Investors in People Awards to showcase the passion and dedication behind our mission to provide high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care. Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to build a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and genuine compassion both for our clients and our team.

We wanted to celebrate the people who make our service what it is: a group of committed individuals who go above and beyond every day to ensure that those we support can live safely and independently at home. Entering the awards also allowed us to reflect on how far we’ve come as an organisation and to benchmark our progress against the best in the sector.

What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2025 Award?

Being shortlisted has been an incredible honour and a proud moment for our entire team. It’s a true reflection of the hard work, commitment, and heart that every member of staff puts into their role.

For our carers, it’s validation that their efforts and compassion are recognised beyond our organisation. For the management team, it reinforces that our focus on staff wellbeing, training, and recognition is making a real difference.

It’s also been a morale boost inspiring us to continue striving for excellence, improving our service delivery, and maintaining the strong sense of teamwork that defines April Complete Care Solutions.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2025 Award?

Winning this award would be an incredible achievement and a powerful recognition of everything our team stands for. It would acknowledge the resilience, compassion, and professionalism that our staff demonstrate daily, often under challenging circumstances.

It would also shine a light on the importance of high-quality domiciliary care and the vital role our sector plays in supporting people to live independently within their communities.

For our organisation, it would reinforce our belief that investing in people through development, wellbeing, and appreciation is the foundation of excellent care. It would be both a reward for our team’s hard work and motivation to keep raising the standard for the future.

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engage in awards and events like this one?

Being part of the Investors in People community is extremely important to us. It provides the opportunity to learn from like-minded organisations, share best practices, and stay connected to a network of employers who value people as their greatest asset.

Engaging in events like these helps us celebrate success, identify new opportunities for improvement, and continue evolving as a progressive, supportive employer.

For April Complete Care Solutions, IIP is not just an accreditation it’s a framework that keeps us accountable, motivated, and focused on maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
