We were invited to enter the award for Overseas Employer of the Year 2025 following our assessment earlier this year. We were incredibly proud of the outcome of our assessment which reflected the commitment and hard work of our teams across all areas of the business. As a Dairy Co-operative located on a small island, our mission to be a responsive, customer-focussed business committed to ensuring a secure, profitable and fulfilling future for everyone in the Isle of Man Dairy industry is clear. Our people are at the heart of this mission, in an industry where demands can be high and resilience and adaptability is key.
Being recognised as one of the best in our category is a huge honour and reflective of our hard working and dedicated workforce. Recognition through these awards not only celebrates the progress we have made over the years but also highlights the commitment of our teams in driving a culture of safety and quality, underpinned by our core values. Whilst we are used to awards being talked about for our quality products, being shortlisted for an award for our people gives us great pride and is something we will definitely be celebrating!
Winning an award would be a huge boost for our teams, to see that the hard work they have put in to making this a great place to work is being recognised by others outside of the business as well as inside. Our colleagues are always happy to jump in and talk to auditors and assessors when asked, to talk about their experiences and challenges that we face and we are very grateful to everyone for the part they play. If we were lucky enough to win this award, it would be for everyone in the business, a reminder of what we have achieved, that we are on the right track, and motivation to keep striving for excellence.
Taking part in these awards allows us to be part of a wider network, to understand where we sit in comparison to other similar businesses. Having support from an objective, external support network is really valuable in order to provide us with sound advice and feedback in areas that we are all very close to.
