The Investors in People Awards 2025 - Finalist Case Study

Nominated for The Award for Best Culture (over 100 employees)

Why did you enter the Investors in People 2025 Awards?

Our participation in the IIP 2025 Awards stems from our desire to showcase how government institutions can lead by example in effectively managing and developing their workforce. The awards serve as a platform to highlight our high standards of efficient, ethical, and people-centered public service. Through this initiative, we also seek to gauge our leadership practices and determine how they measure up to globally recognized standards set by the IIP framework in the United Kingdom. Ultimately, we aim to demonstrate that investing in our employees drives strong organisational performance and enables us to serve the public more with integrity and professionalism.

What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2025 Award?

This recognition marks a significant milestone for our organisation. Earning a place on the IIP 2025 Awards shortlist allowed us to reflect on our journey of growth and shared purpose. It reminded us that fostering a supportive workplace makes a meaningful difference not only for our organisation, but more importantly, for our people. Having our practices recognized beyond our agency and the country has brought us a deep sense of pride and fulfillment and inspired us to keep celebrating our progress and moving forward in our IIP journey with resolve.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2025 Award?

To be shortlisted for an IIP 2025 Award is, in itself, already a great honor for our organisation. Winning the award would be an even greater privilege and a testament to our pursuit of excellence in leadership, people management, and organisational development. It would not only validate our continuous efforts to empower every employee and go beyond the norm in government service, but also motivate us to further strengthen our people practices and set a benchmark for excellence within the public sector.

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engage in awards and events like this one?

Being part of the IIP community is very important to our organisation because it allows us to continuously grow, learn, and uphold a culture that values people and organization development. Through IIP events and recognitions, we are able to connect with like-minded organisations, strengthen partnerships, and exchange best practices that inspire improvement. These experiences also reaffirm our commitment to invest in our employees, our most valuable assets, and to create a workplace where they can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and drive the organisation toward sustained excellence.
