Why did you enter the Investors in People 2025 Awards?
We entered the Investors in People Awards not simply to seek recognition, but to benchmark our transformation against a global standard of excellence. While we were honored to receive a direct invitation based on our standing, our primary motivation was strategic. To achieve our vision of becoming the best regulator in Southeast Asia, we anchored on our belief that “an organization is only as good as its people.” The IIP framework provides the ideal roadmap for this people-first philosophy, challenging us to continuously refine our strategies to ensure our actions align with our human-centered goals.
What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2025 Award?
Being shortlisted is a powerful affirmation of our core belief: that investing in our people directly translates into superior public service. For the organization, it validates that our people-first strategy is a world-class approach to building a resilient, effective regulatory body.
For our teams, this recognition is a collective victory and a tremendous boost to morale. It tells every employee that their growth and engagement are the true engines of our success—powering everything from record-high corporate registrations to the shutdown of over 800 illegal lending firms in a span of a year and safeguarding billions in investor funds. This shortlisting ultimately celebrates the people behind that protection.
