The Investors in People Awards 2025 - Finalist Case Study

Nominated for The Award for Best People Team

Why did you enter the Investors in People 2025 Awards?

Our people team at the Chartered Institute entered the IIP 2025 awards to value and recognise our own achievements as a small team who have grown together both professionally and personally. Equally, we must continue to grow and therefore applying for the award challenges and motivates ourselves to continue to go the extra mile.

We are a team that embrace the journey – all the bumps in the road included. It is vital to us to build relationships with team members and always be taking the next steps to be a people orientated team.

This application is not only a representation of our pride in our HR team but also the entire organisations efforts and teamwork.

What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2025 Award?

We are really proud to have been shortlisted for such an accolade. With such fierce competition and high standards, the shortlisting recognises and reinforces the commitment we have made as a team and organisation to foster a collaborative, professional and high performing working environment where our people can thrive.

It provides reassurance to the entire organisation that we are heading in the right direction and will continue to build on this to shape our future as an organisation that centres around our people.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2025 Award?

To win the Best People Team award with Investors In People would be a great recognition of our care, passion and strategic intent that drives our work every day. It would honour the journey we have taken, from embedding a people first strategy aligned with our five-year organisational goals, to delivering innovative, inclusive and high impact initiatives that support our teams to thrive.

To have our organisation’s story shared and celebrated by the Investors In People community would be a proud moment for our entire organisation. It would reinforce our commitment to continuous improvement, inspire us to keep raising the bar, and energise our journey.

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engage in awards and events like this one?

Being part of the IIP community is incredibly important to us. It reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and creating a culture where everyone can thrive. Engaging in awards and events like this one not only allows us to celebrate our progress, but to learn from others, share best practices and stay inspired by the wider IIP community.
