EVENT SUMMARY

Sunday Night Blues. We’ve all felt them – and that’s a fact. But what causes them? And more importantly, how do we combat them to make sure that come Monday morning, the people in our organisations are feeling energised, happy and raring to go for a productive week!

It’s been a turbulent few years for people at work. If it’s not a busy workload or the uncertainty faced from a global pandemic, it’s now the concerns of the cost of living crisis.

In 2020/21 stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 50% of all work-related ill health cases. Couple that with financial pressures being the top cause of stress outside of work, it’s no surprise that many people just dread Monday and the week ahead.

Investors in People, together with Channel 4 and the University of Exeter Business School are supporting research to explore the causes, impact and resolution of the Sunday Night Blues.

Join us for this morning session where indicative results from the research will be shared. We’ll be joined by Channel 4’s People Director Kirstin Furber alongside Director of Research at the University of Exeter Business School, Exeter Centre of Leadership, Professor Ilke Inceoglu and Investors in People CEO Paul Devoy to explore the latest findings, what they tell us and most importantly what are the next steps against this challenge.

To reserve a space, please complete the booking form. Due to capacity, we will be in touch to confirm whether your ticket reservation has been successful.
