8 years ago NESS was in serious need of modernisation and implementation of quality standards.  They took in around 90% of their income from local authorities, while only 10% was self-generated.  Moving forward, turnover has risen from £570,000 to £2.1m with over half of this being self-generated.  They have further implemented a six point plan with IIP’s guidance to ensure that all future work fits in with the organisations strategy.
