West Hampstead Women's Centre (WHWC) is a charity that has been working in Kilburn Ward in the London Borough of Camden for 30 years. Their aim is to empower women emotionally, socially and economically and encourage them to fulfill their potential.At WHWC women can access services for their health, personal development, safety, skill-based education, holistic therapies and support when they are in crisis.
ACOSVO have used the Skills for Growth programme to help them change their company staffing structure, and feel that they are able to offer an enhanced service to their members as a result. As a direct result of going theough the Skills for Growth programme, ACOSVO decided to become IIP recognised, and achieved the Accreditation in December 2013.Changing our ethos to be much more about continuous improvement and looking at how to get the best out of our staff and our people has been the biggest impact of how we work internally
The senior managers of Q2 were initially attracted to Investors in People because it is an international standard and being accredited would be an indication to clients that it is a quality oriented company. Continuing to maintain the standard and aim for gold was motivated by a desire to show commitment to both clients and employees that Q2 is constantly striving for excellence.
