After taking a career break campervan holiday in Australia and New Zealand, Keith Charlton and Louise Corken got ‘the big idea’ of establishing a campervan rental company in the UK. In 2007, they established Bunk Campers in Belfast with just 5 campervans.

The company expanded additional bases across Ireland and the UK and by 2016 were the UK and Ireland’s largest motorhome hire company, with a factory converting Volkswagen campervans and an on-line camping accessories shop.

Looking to the Future

Camperco recently announced that they have been acquired by global PLC, Apollo Tourism Holdings Ltd, an Australian-owned manufacturer, renter and retailer of motorhomes. Currently covering Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA, in 2019 they will expand into the European market offering campervan hire.
