Sunday Night Blues. We’ve all felt them – and that’s a fact. But what causes them? And more importantly, how do we combat them to make sure that come Monday morning, the people in our organisations are feeling energised, happy and raring to go for a productive week!

It’s been a turbulent few years for people at work. If it’s not a busy workload or the uncertainty faced from a global pandemic, it’s now the concerns of the cost of living crisis.

In 2020/21 stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 50% of all work-related ill health cases. Couple that with financial pressures being the top cause of stress outside of work, it’s no surprise that many people just dread Monday and the week ahead.

We are delighted to be partnering with Channel 4 and the University of Exeter Business School, supporting research to explore the causes, impact and resolution of the Sunday Night Blues.
