We have recently retained our Platinum IIP accreditation, a significant achievement given the challenging external environment we have been navigating in recent years. The assessment period was during what has been a tough time for SMEs, so we are thrilled with our continued growth as a company as we weather these challenges.
I have worked with IIP for many years. We began our journey back in 2011, and I have been a strong advocate for the framework, having utilised IIP in previous companies as well. This accreditation validates the work we do, acknowledging that we are moving in the right direction while providing us with actionable recommendations to enhance our workplace further.
Receiving this award is a special recognition, especially in the people profession, which is typically not driven by commissions or bonuses. Achievements like this hold significant value and mean a lot to all of us.
I believe it would be a significant achievement for our organisation, and it would be particularly meaningful for my team, which I have helped grow from a start-up to 12 members. Receiving this recognition would mean a great deal to my team, who truly deserve it. Every day, they show up and give 110%. I have a fantastic People Team, and I am extremely proud of each and every one of them.
We are now one of the largest digital agencies in the UK and have recently expanded our operations by opening our first office in Austin, Texas. We have ambitious plans for growth as a company, and receiving this recognition would serve as a testament to all we have accomplished since our founding in 2002.
I recently attended the IIP conference in London, and I truly enjoyed the experience. It was my first time participating, but I plan to attend again and bring more members of my team, as it provided great value for money and featured impressive speakers. Developing a professional network is essential, and events like this offer an excellent opportunity to do so.
