The Investors in People Awards 2025 - Finalist Case Study

Nominated for The Award for Best Culture (up to 100 employees), The Award for Health and Wellbeing (up to 500 Employees), The Award for Young Person of the Year

Why did you enter the Investors in People 2025 Awards?

We entered the Investors in People Awards to celebrate and benchmark the culture we’ve been intentionally building over the past few years: one where people feel valued, supported, and proud to contribute to our shared success. The process gives us the opportunity to reflect on our progress, recognise our teams, and identify new ways to keep improving.

As a company that has always believed our people are our greatest strength, these awards align perfectly with our values. They allow us to showcase the genuine care, collaboration, and commitment that underpin everything we do, from wellbeing initiatives and professional development, to open communication and inclusive leadership.

Being part of the IIP community also provides an external validation that the way we look after and invest in our people isn’t just good in theory, but proven in practice. It motivates us to continue setting higher standards and inspires our teams to take pride in being part of a workplace that’s constantly striving to be better.

Ultimately, entering the awards is about reaffirming who we are, what we stand for, and how our culture and people make the difference every day.

What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2025 Award?

Being shortlisted for the Investors in People 2025 Awards has been a powerful moment of recognition and pride for everyone in our organisation. For our teams, it validates the hard work, collaboration, and commitment they bring every day. It reinforces that their contributions are seen, valued, and make a real difference to our culture and success.

For the leadership team, shortlisting is both a reward and a reminder of the responsibility we have to continue developing an environment where people can flourish. It demonstrates that our investment in well-being, development, and inclusive leadership is tangible and impactful, not just a set of policies on paper.

For the organisation as a whole, the recognition highlights the culture we’ve worked hard to build; one where engagement, innovation, and mutual support are central. It motivates us to keep raising the bar, sharing best practices, and ensuring that our workplace remains a space where everyone can contribute, grow, and feel proud of being part of something bigger. Being shortlisted is a celebration of our people and a reminder of why culture, health & well-being, and development are at the heart of everything we do.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2025 Award?

Winning an Investors in People 2025 Award would be an incredible affirmation of the culture and values we have worked hard to nurture. It would recognise the dedication, passion, and collaboration of every member of our team and highlight the positive impact of our initiatives on well-being, development, and engagement.

For the organisation, it would serve as external validation that our approach to people and culture is not only intentional but also effective. It would inspire continued investment in our teams, encouraging innovation, growth, and an environment where everyone can prosper.

Kyle Da Costa’s nomination for the Young Person of the Year Award highlights the impact our culture, support, and development opportunities have on individuals. It’s a reminder that investing in our people isn’t just about policies or programmes; it’s about nurturing talent, encouraging growth, and helping each person reach their potential. Celebrating Kyle’s achievement alongside a possible organisational award would make the recognition even more meaningful.

Such recognition would also strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice, helping to attract and retain talented individuals who share our values. Most importantly, it would be a celebration of our people, the heart of our organisation, and a reminder that by prioritising their health, well-being, development, and potential, we are shaping a workplace that is collaborative, resilient, and future ready.

Winning the award would be both a milestone and a motivation: a moment to reflect on what we’ve achieved and a catalyst to continue striving for excellence in everything we do.
