Why are we doing this survey?
Your organisation’s taking a We invest in people assessment.
That means they’re working with us to improve the way they manage, develop, and lead their people. If they’re doing well at this already, they might be awarded an Investors in People accreditation.
Our survey gives everyone the chance to be heard and make positive changes to their workplace.
Why should I take part?
An Investors in People accreditation is a mark of an organisation dedicated to its people.
By taking our survey, you’re giving your organisation the chance to see if they’re among the best and you’re letting them know what they can do to make work better for you.
To help your organisation focus on the right areas, we need to hear from those who know it best – people like you!

What will it ask me?
You’ll be asked 38 multiple choice questions. They cover things like how motivated and involved you feel, whether your work is interesting, and if you feel supported and appreciated.
You just need to tell us how much you agree with each statement.
How long does it take to fill in?
The survey takes around five minutes to fill in.
Is it compulsory?
No. Our survey isn’t compulsory, but we’d love you to take part.
The more people who do, the more confident we can be that what we find out is representative of views across your organisation.
Are my answers confidential?
Yes. Our survey, and every stage of our assessment process, is completely anonymised. No one in your organisation will know who said what.
Sometimes we ask demographics questions (e.g. how old you are or your gender), or group people (e.g. by location or department), but your organisation will never be able to identify you from your responses.
What will happen with the results?
Each survey question links to our framework.
Our framework is made up of nine broad categories, each focusing on different elements of people management excellence. This helps us pinpoint what your organisation does well and what they need to work on.
Their survey results will help us decide their overall assessment result, and feed into our recommendations.
Can I take the survey in another language?
Yes. Our survey can be taken in lots of different languages:

Your organisation will have chosen the languages their people need.
