Why did you enter the Investors in People 2023 Awards? –

The past number of years have been exceptionally challenging for Balmoral as we were front and centre at supporting the Health Service throughout the pandemic. The efforts of our team deserve recognition. We have invested greatly in our people over the past few years, and this has been reflected in our IIP Gold Accreditation at the beginning of the year. IIP Awards also signal to employers and stake holders that we are committed to excellence in people and development. Winning an IIP award can be attractive for potential employees and stake holders. It can be a powerful marketing tool, boosting moral and motivation, among our employees for their work.

What has it meant to you, your team and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2023 Award?

The recognition from the IIP awards have affirmed for the Balmoral team that all our hard work, commitment and development over the past few years has all been worth it. We believe in doing the right thing for the right reasons and don’t actively seek reward for this, but to have been recognised on this occasion has been hugely overwhelming. Being short listed for this award signifies a significant achievement and recognition for our commitment to excellence in people management and development. It brings a sense of pride and motivation to the team. Being shortlisted is an achievement of our hard work and dedication, creating a positive work environment and investing in growth and wellbeing.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2023 Award?

Balmoral Healthcare works in a highly competitive sector. We believe that we are set apart with high values and quality compared to many of our competitors. To win this award would only cement our true belief in providing a genuine, value for money and person-centred service. Winning an IIP 2023 award will bring significant prestige and recognition to our organisation. It signifies that our organisation has achieved excellence in its people management practices and is committed to the development of our employees it can enhance our reputation among clients and stake holders. Winning IIP can boost employee morale and validates the employees’ contributions and hard work.
