Why did you enter the Investors in People 2023 Awards? 

We conducted research to identify awards that specifically recognise achievements and contributions related to EDI. We were keen to enter awards that have established credibility and are respected in the EDI field.  Being nominated/winning this award will serve as a mark of quality and excellence, making it easier for others to trust in our abilities and achievements. 

What has it meant to you, your team and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2023 Award? 

Being shortlisted means that our work has been recognised as deserving of special attention within the DEI category. It’s a testament to our accomplishments having been shortlisted by a panel of judges or experts reviewing our submission and determining that it meets the criteria and standards set by the Investors in People awarding body. This validation has boosted our confidence and affirmed our conviction to do more in the area. 

Being shortlisted has also been a source of personal pride and motivation. It acknowledges our hard work and achievements, encouraging us to continue striving for excellence. 

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2023 Award? 

Winning the award would help to significantly enhance trust with our customers by providing external validation on the important work we are doing that ultimately impacts them. On a personal level winning an award represents the culmination of our efforts and would be a tangible recognition of the passion and dedication we have in this area. 

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engaged in awards and events like this one? 

The Investors in People award is important to PfP because it signifies a commitment to our people development and effective HR practices. Achieving this award would result in a range of benefits, including enhanced reputation, improved employee engagement, talent attraction, and alignment with strategic goals—all of which contribute to business growth and success.
