Why did you enter the Investors in People 2023 Awards?

Pegasus were shortlisted as Top 20 UK Employer of the Year Accredited 2 to 49 organisations. We feel that we have achieved big things in a short space of time, and we are incredibly proud, IIP has helped us to transform the way we work, we feel that we have positively transformed our business through our IIP experience, and we want to celebrate that transformation. 

What has it meant to you, your team, and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2023 Award?

An engaged and motivated team is the foundation of what our business is built on, it is our mission to provide a positive, fun, engaging & innovative workplace culture, so just to be shortlisted has validated to us that our passion and commitment to creating that environment for our team has been successful, it has also served as a benchmark for our ongoing improvement. 

Being shortlisted has given us an opportunity to celebrate everyone’s hard work and given us all an immense sense of pride in what we have achieved together. It has given us the determination to continue to build on our IIP journey. 

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2023 Award?

To win an award would be a testament to the investment we have made in our people. It would enhance our reputation to our team but also externally. To win an award would showcase us to our clients and set us apart from our competitors. We are focusing some of our work overseas and as IIP is an internationally recognised award, it would give our overseas clients confidence that we are a well-managed, responsible organisation. 

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engaged in awards and events like this one? 

We thrive from listening and learning, and we are thrilled to be given the opportunity to network and engage with other businesses from the Investors in People community. Engaging with businesses across the award categories and listening to their experiences of the journey to IIP accreditation will help us to build our knowledge and identify new opportunities for our business, helping us to enhance & continuously improve our workplace.
